Vaillant Ecotec Pro 28 No Hot Water. At first, the pressure guage never moved off zero, but then eventually i heard water return into the tank and the pressure gauge went up.just took it to mid way in the grey area. Turn both valves so they are in line with the pipe.

Use a watering can or jug to carefully pout the hot water over the frozen section of the pipe. Is the vaillant ecotec pro 28 water only lukewarm?

After a load of googling, i found it was a bad connection with the controller. If you look up under the boiler you will see two small valves linked by a silver flexible pipe.

I went through the set up and everything seems to be as it should be. Assuming 28kw output and 6c mains temp then the flowrate should be 12.2 lpm at 39c, that will narrow down the problem once you measure that flowrate and temperature.

The only thing is when we run the hot water for the washing up etc it will go hot for a couple of minutes then go cold until i open up tap more. In order to produce enough hot water, a gas boiler has a higher capacity than needed for your heating needs.

Is the vaillant ecotec pro 28 water only lukewarm? With the system cold pop the hot water on and see if the left hand pipe under the boiler gets hot. The boiler is new (approximately 6 months old).

Good Boiler, No Real Problems As Of Yet.

I've just moved into a privately rented house and the hot water is not working. Just get out your bucket and 1 litre jug and hold the bucket under the shower/tap for exactly 1 minute and measure it with the jug. The proven ecotec pro is the ideal solution for all requirements of heating.

The new vaillant ecotec (2012 onwards) has removed the user controls and replaced them with a single lcd display, with a series of scrolling menus.this is no. The heating is controlled via a salus room thermostat and works fine. Can be linked to the gas valve settings, the condition of the ignition unit or ignition leads, or the air inlet duct.
